The Albany Golf Academy at Windsor School combines all aspects of the game to elevate student-athletes to the next level. Student-athletes of the academy play and practice at world-class facilities and have the opportunity to learn from renowned instructors. The academy provides a rigorous and disciplined schedule to help cultivate the game’s top athletes, including physical training, coaching, on-course play multiple times per week and on weekends and targeted short game practice.
Top Facilities
Albany Golf Academy student-athletes train and play on Albany’s championship golf course which hosts the Hero World Challenge, a PGA TOUR event. In addition to the championship golf course, student-athletes and instructors utilize cutting-edge technologies, including a launch monitor and swing catalyst, to assess and improve all areas of their game.
Renowned Instructors
Student-athletes of the Albany Golf Academy have the opportunity to learn from Director of Golf and British PGA professional Jon Hearn. Jon has more than 20 years of experience and has coached some of golf’s most successful LPGA and PGA TOUR players. In addition, student-athletes train with a variety of mobility, strength, cardio, swimming and yoga professionals that form well-rounded athletes.
Training Philosophy
The Albany Golf Academy focuses on developing all aspects of student-athletes, including sport discipline, physical and mental training, nutrition, leadership skills, competition performance, college preparation and recruitment. By taking a holistic approach to student-athlete development, the academy helps student-athletes grow into the leaders and champions of the future.
